The image above shows a map of North America showing where the most bedbug infestations and outbreaks have been reported.
The pink squares represent mild bedbug infestations whereas the dark red squares indicate substantial bedbugs outbreaks. You’ll notice basically every state has had bedbug infestations reported, and so has Canada.
The most occurances tend to be in the Northeastern United States. Outer areas are more prone to bedbug infestations because bedbugs are easily transported by boats and ships.
If something major is not done to stop the spreading of bedbugs you can expect that map to be completely covered in red over the next several years.
